New Years eve relationship advice?

Its me and my boyfriends 1st new years eve together.


We just moved in together in October.


Both our families want us at their place at midnight.


I suggested we go to neither, and just go out ourselves that night, that way none of or families would be upset that we went to the other family's party. He's being stubborn.


Should I just go to his family's party, my fam would be crushed, and vice versa..


and us hosting it is not an option...

What have you done on New Years eve for the past three years that you've been together? It shouldn't become an issue just because you've moved in together. Do whatever you would normally do. If the families have any sense they won't be offended. They'll understand that you're both young and enjoying life.
