Feeding advice for a new Yorkshire Terrier puppy - how much and how often?

My sister is getting a pup for her birthday off her fianc茅e, and I have advised her to put the new pup on James Wellbeloved food, as it is the best food available here in ireland (I am aware that foods such as Oirijen and Canidae are better, but they are not available in this country)

I am going to the shop today to buy her some of the lamb and rice puppy kibble; but I was looking for some advice on how much and how often should the pup be fed?

She is a female, 9 weeks old and is from very small parents. Going by this link : http://www.wellbeloved.com/products/dog_鈥?/a>

My thoughts are roughly 25-30g twice daily?

What would be the handiest way of measuring this (ie what is that in terms of a standard mug/cup?)

As a Vet Nursing Student I should know this, but the more opinions the more informed one is. You can never do enough research when getting a new pup in my opinion.

All advice/recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance for all answers.Feeding advice for a new Yorkshire Terrier puppy - how much and how often?
The bag of food will have feeding instructions on it. Start with the recommended amount, if the dog gets fat, feed less. If the dog gets skinny, feed more.

Puppies should eat 3 times a day. (Remember to divide the daily feeding amount by 3 to get the feeding amount for each meal.)

Use whatever measuring unit you are most comfortable with, it will be the same amount after you do the unit conversion. (Since I'm in the USA, I'm the most comfortable with cups, so I measure in cups.)

.Feeding advice for a new Yorkshire Terrier puppy - how much and how often?
If you are getting the puppy from a proper breeder, then they should tell you which food they use, how much and how often. The puppy will be stressed at leaving mum, so changing the diet would be more upsetting.

We feed our pup 3 times a day, which is what the breeder said. Staff at our local vets prefer 4 times a day.
I like the personality of a yorkshire terrier. They are so sweet.
We gave our pups pedigree dog food.... dont know if you have it there where you are but my pup ate it with love....

To tell you the truth I kinda winged it with my pups (also Yorkshire Terriers) We gave them small kibble that was very soft (very important) they might have sharp teeth but not strong jaws yet...

We had two pups and we gave them about a hand full moring, noon and night..

Not all pups eat their food so dont worry to much if your sisters pup aint eating.. My one pup ate alomst for an army, my other pup only ate a bit

Just take note Yorkies can be picky so if they dont eat a first dab a bit of beef sause over the kibbles....
This is one for her, hopefully, reputable breeder!! Puppies should come with a Diet Sheet, to include the how-much, as much as all the rest of the paperwork (registration, pedigree, worming chart/vaccinations, if done). And most breeders will supply a small amount of this food when the puppy leaves them. It's not wise to immediately switch a puppy from the food he's used to having/was weaned onto. It's stressful enough coming to a new home, without immediately changing his food. Contact the breeder before you rush out and buy something different.

If you need to switch the food, do it later on, once he's settled down, and only if it's necessary. Any switch should be done gradually, adding a little of the new with the old, until over time, the new food is the bigger amount.
I checked the Well Beloved website and found these feeding instructions for a Yorkie-

http://www.wellbeloved.com/products/dog_鈥?/a>

However, I did not find any kibble specifically made for a such small breed puppy- this can cause a problem, because of bite size.

I recommend trying Solid Gold ';Wee Bits';, because for a Yorkie the kibble needs to be very small. This has been a good size for my lil 6 pounder that was only 18 ounces, when I brought him home.

If that is not available, then just make sure it is very tiny, puppy, kibble!

I started him by feeding mine about 1/4 cup, three times a day. It should be about what he can eat at one time in 5minutes. If he completely eats that amount, you can add a bit more, until you find the right amount for him. My pup also loves the roasted chicken you buy ready made at the grocery store- rotisserie chicken that I tear into bite size for him or I add a little shredded cheese to his kibble. Yum!

New to this any advice?

i want to get into music, i can sing more of pop-punk, stuff like blink182, angels and airwaves, i can sing some jonas brothers songs, but i want to get an electric guitar but not sure on how to go about finding a good one, i have a pawn shop right up the street from my house and ive seen them in the windows, anyone know how much they would cost in a pawn shop? and what type should i get that would sound like the bands above? thanks in advanceNew to this any advice?
Well.. If you want stuff like that, you probably wanna get something along the lines of an Epiphone or Gibson.. Anything with humbuckers. I'm not sure, but I think pop-punk bands usually use guitars with humbuckers. If it's from a pawn shop, they're probably gonna be around.. $200-$500 maybe. Guesstimate...

  • Any advice on a new career?

When all else fails...see outside help right?!

So, here is my dilemma...any advice welcome.

I went to register for college to earn a degree this time and backed out the day of orientation because I changed my mind about my major when I got there. I was going for degree in Social Work, then I thought, maybe I'll change it to Criminology, then I said nahhhhh...I'll change it to a degree in Nursing. Then I got so aggravated I told them I would make up my mind and sign back in for Spring Semester. I just can't decide what it is I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm 35 and trust me, I'm not getting any younger. My children are living proof to that. (smile)

I have went to school for EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-P, Phlebotomy and National 911 EMS Dispatch. I like what I do, but yet it's not what I want to do for life. And I can't seem to get a job in Phlebotomy!!! No one wants to hire for that position unless you have at least 1 yr experience. I have worked in Human Resources, I've worked in plants, I've waitressed, but yet; I still don't feel like I have met my match as a person in the career that was meant for me.

So any help....please someone save me....

I love figuring out how things work. I insist on organization and cleanliness. I despise drama and gossip. I love helping people, especially children (preferbly babies and toddlers). Any advice on a new career?
    Hi,

It's difficult to find the right one isn't it? I have a similar problem to you so have just started looking at some college videos that are proving very useful. They have lots of info and students opinions on best, cheapest etc. If you think they could be helpful to you too you can see them for free at http://www.free-college-videos.com

    I hope that helps.

Any advice for a new relationship?

I've been dating this great guy for about 4 months. We have been friends for 3 years but just starting dating since we were both previously in long term relationships. We spend a lot of time together, we have met eachother's family, and he is very loving. The problem is he is always getting text messages from other girls with sexual messages. We have talked about it and he says he has told them to stop because he is in a relationship but they just won't. I don't know what to do. Do I trust this? The other issue is that we had sex early into dating but now it is only every week or two. Should I suspect I am not the only one?Any advice for a new relationship?
you seriously can't have a good relationship without trust. You can ask him to change his number if he's committed to you, to end the messages, or ask him to delete his 'black book' numbers he has in his phone. If he won't or you are at all uncomfortable, the relationship probably isn't the best. it takes a lot of work, and it's easier to get out of an untrusting and potentially hurtful relationship early than it is much later. Just ask yourself if it's worth trying to work out, or just move on? you want a guy devoted to you, not just partially.Any advice for a new relationship?
this is pretty hard to answer.

i mean i would be worried to.

if u ask him he would prolly lie...and how can u really know if hes cheating on u or not??

    i dont really know.

    im sorry.

this was kind of a waste for an answer..but oh well.
wow....then tell him to change his number...good luck
So, your not sure if he is cheating that mean you dont trust him. That is a bad sign, and the ';sex'; issue of girsl sennding those message, thats a bad thing to, i think you better watch out before you go much deeper with this realationship
I thik you are hungry of sex, but this is not everlasting, think about your future. In our country girls are like earthen pot, once crack, cannot be repaired.

Need advice on my new Commodore 64 (games)?

hello I hope you can help me.

I have been given a Commodore 64 for an early xmas present, but it has only come with one game. The big man in the pc world shop said I was joking when i asked for world of warmaking and half light 2? It's ok... haha I realize now that I meant to say world of warcrafts. But I find out they only sell games for the Amastrad PC?

Where can I get these fab games for my commodore?Need advice on my new Commodore 64 (games)?
you are a fat! i like you do you like me?Need advice on my new Commodore 64 (games)?
    Hiya

Try eBAy!! they normally have loads... Me and my partner was looking just the other day actually!!
This is an archaic computer that predates Windows. Software from it probably gave Bill Gates ideas FOR Windows.

Sorry man, it will only run Commodore 64 games.
Dunno.Any one want to buy my Atari 800XL?
    You stupid twat!
:) You are funny... but I wanna try to explain you anyway what's funny about your question. :)

Commodore 64 has been one of the first wide-spread personal computer in the '80s .. this means about 20 years ago... I think they stopped creating videogames for commodore 64 about 16 years ago... World of warcraft is available only if you own a new pc or a new Apple computer.

You can find games that will work on commodore 64 on ebay :

    http://video-games.search.ebay.com/commo鈥?/a>
Damn if you'd have asked me in 1984 i could of helped you...sorry
Seeing as I had mine in 1989ish I don't think you'll be getting any games in PC World. You'll have to try ebay for games but seeing as they were on cassette tapes I wouldn't hold my breath for there being many of them! I used to play Trivial Pursuit or Monopoly, set all the players to be the computer, it's quite funny (or it was at the age of 8!). Also don't you just love the multicoloured loading screen that is there for what seems like hours!
    A C64? Niiiiiice!

Go to the porn shops and see if anyone has porned old C64 games for money.

I would sell you mine, but I just found out that you can see the games IN COLOUR on a COLOUR TV!!! So I must replay them all.

New dog training - need advice?

I have two dogs and I am fostering a five year old Saint Bern. I want her to feel she is loved and welcomed, but not become possessive. I have seen that she getting clingy. When I go over to pet the other dogs, cats and huge my husband, the new dog gets in the middle.

How can I provide her with security, ';AND'; discourage possessiveness?New dog training - need advice?
Push her away and say No. It will not do her any harm emotionally. In fact it will help.

Most people do not want a 'clingy' dog. Teaching her when to give affection and when not to will do he great good.

Don't worry about the security issue. Good training, limitations and boundaries makes a dog secure in itself.New dog training - need advice?
always make sure you pet your pack first. she should be last in line for food, treats, petting. but never eliminated from them.

i would spend special time alone with her without the other dogs in the home.
She just wants your all time attention cuz she feels your her mommy:)

Try buying her some toys to keep her busy

New puppy, old cat advice please?

My new puppy is 2 mos old, I also have a cat who is over a year old and grew up with a senior dog prior to this. The puppy likes to chase her. She doesn't understand what ';no'; means. At first, if I just chided her a little, she'd whimper, but all of a sudden it doesn't phase her. I tried shouting ';no'; and hitting the floor as I said it, but she has no reaction just keeps chasing the cat and going off to play. How do you teach a dog no? And how can I get the dog and cat to be friends or at least the dog allowing the cat to walk around like she's used to without getting chased. I'll grab the puppy but my cat still takes off in hiding.New puppy, old cat advice please?
ok well these problems are expected, but i totally understand. why dont you try a squirt bottle, and when the dog is after the cat squirt them in the face or on the butt, they hate either!New puppy, old cat advice please?
fill a medal can with rice or beans and put plastic wrap over the top and shake it hard when the he chases the cat or maybe even throw it by him but be careful not to hit him
I would get rid of the puppy. Cats are great pets and dogs are not. The cat was there first and it is his home. Cats rule and dogs drool. Get a second cat for your cat to play with and enjoy. 2 cats are fabulous together!!
you might need to make a high pitched *ah ah* sound, if the dog stops, reward her by saying good girl and petting her, if she doesn't, repeat the sound. If that sound doesn't work, clang to lids together. this will get the dogs attention. but keep in mind that this will scare the dog. if she comes to you, do not look her in the eye, this will associate fear and you as the same thing. If you need anymore help, you can watch Animal Planet's ';It's Me Or The Dog.'; Or go to animalplanet.com Good luck.
    These things happen.

Keep them separated for now and reward the puppy when it walks by the room or area, in which the cat is residing, without lunging at kitty. I would walk the puppy through the house on his lease until he understands that chasing is not o.k.

Give the kitty time to go to the dog. Don't force your cat. I have a 2 year old lab and a 9 year old calico cat. It took the cat a whole year to even go into the same room with the dog. Now she spends every night in the same room with the dog and relentlessly teases him in his crate at night. They aren't best buddies, but I think once dog boy calms down she will go to him and snuggle.

Cats are so independent that they could care less about the dogs.

Teachers and TA's: any advice for a new TA?

I start working as a TA (a sub position) tomorrow. im kind of nervous (only job i ever had was in a pizza shop) and i want to make a good impression on my first day, and i hardly know what im going into (they gave me no training, just a 18 page manual). of course i want to do good because i want to help the students out the best i can and i want to gain experience in this job that will help me when i become a teacher (i intend on being a teacher when i get my BA,) but getting promoted to a full time position would be nice too. any teachers or TA's here who can give me advice? Thanks!Teachers and TA's: any advice for a new TA?
Here are some tips (from the best TA that I have ever had):

1-Be encouraging. If they answered the questions correctly or if they did a good job with their assignments/homeworks/quiz you can always make them feel good by saying good job guys!

2-Be friendly so they won't be intimidated asking you questions.

3-If you're explaining a topic to them, get them involved. ask them questions and make them think.

4-Know your stuff. Otherwise you won't earn their respect.

    5-Learn their names

6- Ask them about their academic background and how much they know about the course.

7- have a good sense of humour and make them enjoy the class.

8- You can always tell them to expect a pop quiz on the material that you're going to cover that day (you can give them a pop quiz but discard the papers later and tell them they didn't do as well as you expected them to do so you are not considering their grade) They will love you for this and they will be motivated to study for the next pop quiz! also this makes them prepared for the class.

9- you can always tell them that this is the best class that you've ever had and you're very proud of them.

10-Don't tell them it's your first time teaching. Even if they ask you can say it is the first time you're teaching this class.

Good Luck!Teachers and TA's: any advice for a new TA?
Be friendly with students and staff. Do the tasks that the teacher asks of you in a timely manner. Help the students by guiding them to find answers, don't just give the right answer. Be a good role model for the students and treat them with respect. Don't let them walk all over you either; it's important to be firm but not a drill sergeant. Lastly, it becomes easier and less intimidating as time goes by and you get experience. you'll do fine.
Be respectful and work hard! Be a good role model for the kids, do whatever the teacher asks and get to know the people in the office. Ask the teacher if she could give you any advice on what it will take to be a great teacher. (Teachers love giving advice;)) Good luck! and Have fun!

New to WoW. Any advice ?

I just started wow recently . what should I play like alliance or horde ? and what class should I play ? I started WoW because

of my friends and they all play in the horde.New to WoW. Any advice ?
play with your friends. rogues and paladins are goodNew to WoW. Any advice ?
well it depends. if you want to play with your friends then go horde. I tend to play alliance more, but thats just me. Everyone on horde seems to think that the only people who play alliance are noobs and 12 year olds, which is dumb and not true. I have a few horde characters and a few alliance and their are jerks on both. pick your poison. i do admit horde looks better in armor and what not. They have all the big powerful looking character models likes tauren and orcs, while alliance has the drunken dwarfs and the goofy little gnomes. just depends what you like.
I started playing WoW about a month ago, I have two characters, an ally human rogue and a horde blood elf hunter. So if my mate are not on i play the other character and when they raid the major cities i can still watch. You will meet new people to chat with and make friends so dont be afraid to chat to people. Its also handy to have high lvl friends. But i prefer alliance. Its up to you.
It doesn't really matter if you use this addon http://tinyurl.com/mfe3r9
Experiment, talk to the people on the game. Have fun but not too much, alot of people get addicted to that game.
    Quit while you can!
go with the horde then.. if u play with friends WOW is much more enjoyable. Anyway horde is way better than alliance
roll a rogue, they're pretty damn fun

I feel as if im drifting away from my friends because i spend a lot of time with my new boyfriend any advice?

Ive been going out with my boyfriend for just under a month now and things are going great, i spend loads of time with him because he makes me so happy. But i feel as if im neglecting my friends but i don't want to not see my boyfriend as much. Also it seems as if some of my friends are jealous of the relationship i have with my boyfriend as they are always moaning about how much time i spend with him, even though i still spend the same amount of time with them when i didn't have a boyfriend...HELP!?I feel as if im drifting away from my friends because i spend a lot of time with my new boyfriend any advice?
Well Grace that's usually how its always is with Girls and their NEW all that boyfriend. my sister just got her first boyfriend and you know what? she's a stranger to the family now. she can't do ANYTHING without him, like yesterday she was trying to watch a movie with our mom, and she had go as far as to text him saying she was going to be with mom for a while. she doesn't go out with us anymore. she's always in her room on the phone with this boy.

you need to remember that your friends have been your friends and have been there for you LONGER then this guy who just stepped in your life. i'm not saying you should spend less time with him. but remember that you have friends too.

Just bought a new car need advice on my rights in texas?

I do not have the best credit and new in town, I went to a dealership and found a cute new 08 car that i liked.

Now that I've ';slept'; on it here are some things that are bothering me the morning after.

    1. My new car (no previous owner) had 500 miles on it

    2. The finance guy didn't give me copies of my loan docs that I signed because he said the bank has to sign off on it then I will get a copy.

    3. There was some charge of $3000 extra to the amount of the car, yet I signed something for a $2000 factory rebate.

He said it was ';blah blah blah blah'; that's what it sounded like to me at least. But I'm waking up really bothered by it.

I plan on going in there today, but I know they will probably give me more of the same, so I was hoping to get some advice first.

ThanksJust bought a new car need advice on my rights in texas?
It sounds as if they sold you an extended warranty product鈥攖hat could be the $3,000 add on. You actually have 72 hours from driving out to return the car and cancel the deal. If you aren't comfortable keeping it, take it back. If you have an issue with the dealer, follow the TxDOT link below to file an official complaint.Just bought a new car need advice on my rights in texas?
    Good day,

I too live in Texas and have worked for car dealerships...This is your deal...Speak to the finance manger..if that doesn't get the answers you can understand speak to someone else. Ask around what sells person has been there the longest??? I know sells people that have been w/ the same dealerships for 20 years..and they make a killing on repeat business...seek knowledge from these people...they want satisfaction for you and you to return in the next couple of years and send Friends...So stand tall and get the answers you want...ps you have 24 hours to back out..So as Mick Jagger say: get Satisfaction.....

    Happy Trails
I have not been able to find any information about a cooling-off period in Texas. Some information suggests that they do not have one. Every time I've gone to purchase a car they specifically told me that my state, California, does not have one but you can purchase insurance to compensate for that.

The loan documents situation seems about right, maybe you should hope that the loan doesn't get approved then agreement would then become void.

You'll hear the same shenanigans if you go back as you dealt with while purchasing your car. Your best bet is to approach them politely and very apologetically. They do have the ability to terminate the agreement, but they don't have to.

Regarding the mileage that shouldn't be a deal breaker. If it's only 500 miles I doubt it was used as a loaner. It was probably driven to that dealership from somewhere and taken on more than a few test drives.

don't do anything with it, you're soooooo cute!!
dye it a medium to dark brown, and add strawberry blonde highlighs, it would really compliment the cut.

    hope it helped =]
    keep it!

unless you want to get a mullett, because they're hot.

the guy in the last picture with the short dark hair is a PIMP.
I think a faux hawk would look awesome on you. Leave a little length on top and clean up the sides short.. I would not color it, looks good the color it is.
i wouldnt do anything to it!

i think it looks great on you :D

    btw your hot!
defininaly color it darker, but keep some of the blonde in. If you want a different style grow it out just a lil bit longer and do the whole bed head thing but still sweep it over to the side like your doing now

I would suggest a dual core system with at least 2 gigs of ram. There are alot of good sites you can customize your own machines and are in my opinion the way to go. This is a link to the site I used for my last computer.

Good luck with the new machine and hope this helped ya.Considering buying a new desktop, need advice?
consider a mac mini, and run VMWare to emulate Windows.
    go on dell.com
Buy new laptop from dell or hp.
I absolutly love our Gateway, and my husband is in the army and has these humungous skamatics ( spelling? ) and he has boxes of them, so he had to have a lot of memory. We have not had one issue, and we have had it over a year now, it came with good security and we were able to purchase an extended warranty and extended memory for next to nothing.
Find someone who can build them up. if u buy the parts and they build it cheap you can build a good computer for less than the shop buying price. i got a 拢1300 computer for 拢600 because it was built by a friend.

Time for a new system. Any advice?

Ok my entire sound system was stolen from my vehicle. So i am taking it as an opportunity to go bigger than before. I still have nice speakers for highs and i have a new deck that is decent for the time being, but i am not sure what sub and amp combo to go with. I was looking at the 5-600 dollar range for parts alone. Also i would prefer something that has decent sq but great spl. Let me know your opinions and suggestions. By the way its going in an suv. Also the speaker size isnt a big concern just let me know what you think would be best.Time for a new system. Any advice?

BOOOOO on thieves! My condolences. We need more vigilante justice!

For that price with a focus on SPL, I would probably do two RE Audio SE12s in a ported box with around 1.5cf per side, running both off an Alpine MRP-M1000 amp.

I hate my new hair, any advice?

i normally die my hair Black or red but have recently been growing out the dye in hope of getting some highlights its been a year since i dyed it, my hair was nicely styled shoulder length when i went to the hairdressers with just an inch of dark left, so i asked her to chop of all the dark but keep the style im now booked in for highlights, but i hate the cut its like a dead short layered bob, so i want it restyled, has anyone got any links or good ideas my hair is a light mousy brown colour and has a few awkward kinks so nothing that is for dead straight hair. \anything considered. sorry i have no photos. thanks.I hate my new hair, any advice?
Add a few layers. Nothing too short though. But it will give your hair more volume. Your coloring is going to determine what hair color you should go. You shouldnt go more than 2 shades in either direction.. if you dont want anything too drastic.

I also like ( this is very drastic and not on all people do I like it) When people die the bottem of their hair a dramatic color (like red or purple) and leave the top a solid dark color.

I would never have the guts to do that... but I think it looks cool.

Best of luck!I hate my new hair, any advice?
Ok, I had a similar situation, but not. Let's just say it involved a gad stove and a giant flame ball in the face that singed a lot of my long locks. Anyway, when I went in, of course, we cut off all the burnt pieces and my stylist did her own thing while I hoped I would have some hair left. I would up with a layered bob-shag thing. It initially looked really weird, however, I found if you blow dry it with volumizer, then straighten it, you can add hair taffy and get a really cute piecy look. If you want lots more volume, you can flip the ends out when you straighten it. The taffy doesn't make your hair tacky and gives it lots of volume. I ended up looking like a really cute, slightly demented fairy (or for a more normal description something akin to an alice cullen/rachel leigh cook kinda thing). Anyway, hope I helped a bit.

No, there is no ';cooling-off'; or ';buyer's remorse'; period where you can just take it back and wash your hands of the situation. That answer is incorrect.

On the $3000, it ';might'; be taxes/fees, etc., but that sounds a little high. If you traded in a vehicle, it also could be negative equity from your trade (if you owed $10,000 but they could only give you $7,000 for example).

Don't be surprised if the dealer calls you back and says ';we couldn't get you approved'; as it sounds like they are shopping the loan. Did you sign an actual sales contract with loan terms, lender, etc.? If they do call you and tell you that they couldn't get the loan done, take the car back and start from scratch. Come back here and ask about buying advice.Just bought a new car need advice on my rights in texas?
Many states have a 'cooling off' period, where you can just call it off. Not sure if they have it in Texas and not sure how long the 'cooling off' period is. But you can see if anyone else here can help you on it.
Do you understand that you are entering into a contract and that UNTIL you have completely PAID for that car and the interest on the loan amount, , YOU don't own it , the finance company does ?

And if you miss any payments, they have the right to TAKE IT BACK, untill you pay up the acccount ?

Why in the world would you sign to buy a brand new car, when it is obvious that you can't afford it, and don't even understand the actual terms of the deal ?

You can buy a 4 year old car that will be safe and MUCH less costly to buy and maintain and insure.

I need a new hairstyle, any advice or ideas?

With my senior year at school starting I wanted to change my look up a little bit. I have curly wavy hair, which isnt always managable. It's dark brown and almost black in certain parts. At it's longest parts my hair is about 5 inches below my shoulders. It is layered from my chin down, actually it would be considered more choppy. It frizzes pretty easily and with it being thick it takes about an hour and 45 minutes to straighten with the straightener I have. With my description, does anybody have any pictures and can describe any hairstyles for me? I don't mind straightening because I soon plan on getting a better straightener and I think my face shape would be considered oval.

Any advice would help.I need a new hairstyle, any advice or ideas?
the first easiest thing to do is this:

    http://bridalclarity.com/images/uploads/hairstyle2.jpg

all you have to do is just pull the top part back.. it takes about 2 minutes but if it was really poufy you could straighten it but not that much

also try giving it a side part that helped a lot with meI need a new hairstyle, any advice or ideas?
Your hair sounds just like mine, but a little darker. I got it cut short two weeks ago, it's a bob about halfway down the neck at the lowest point (the front) and gets soewhat higher as it goes back. I really love it, it's more manageable and looks good. Although I'm 13, and it fits my age, I don't know if you would like it, but I love mine. Hope I helped.

Looking to buy new camera - need advice!?

I am looking fo rcamera that is small, can record video as well as take still pics - preferably dvd video, as I am terrible with the technicals of transferring things with the computer. I want to be able to take it to a concert - and I don't want to get great - MTV quality video, just some to show my son who won't be able to go to the show. I want it to be a good camera though, so we can take family video of kids growing up and all..still pics are very important-

is it possible to get the best of both worlds in one small easy to use camera?Looking to buy new camera - need advice!?
';is it possible to get the best of both worlds in one small easy to use camera?'; - no! There are great video cameras and great stills cameras, but nothing that's great at both. The Panasonic DMC-TZ5 is worth a look though - it's a very nice compact camera and the video quality is good.

Regardless of what you choose, you're likely to have problems with the audio at concerts - the volume levels are usually much too high* and you end up with more crackling than music.

If you want to make DVDs from your footage, have a look at DVD Flick - it's easy and it's free!

    * That's too loud for the microphone, of course - concerts are supposed to be loud!Looking to buy new camera - need advice!?
If you want read something more about ';digital camera';,

more information i just come accross this blog which may help you.
Most digital cameras take videos at an affordable price, but it is nowhere near as good as an actual camcorder.

Some camcorders take still pictures. Plan to pay extra for this feature. They typically are no more than 1 or 2 megapixels. Which will make a good wallet print but anything bigger isnt too great.

HOWEVER if you plan to pay about twice as much, this camcorder takes up to 4 megapixel pictures. At almost $700 this is actually a great buy! http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?鈥?/a>

Think about it this way, if you were going to get a new camera AND a new camcoder you would easily pay more than this. And you are getting 2 for 1!

Make sure to get extra dvds, case, and memory stick :)

i might have to do that next year too for junior year but i dont know anyone. it will probably be a lot easier for you seeing familiar faces they will probably recogonize you anyway and just go up to them and ask if they went to your old school and re introduce yourself maybe and thats the easiest way to start a conversation and make friends with them again.

I have coached 7 and 8 yr olds also....Fundamentals of the game is one of the most important things, along with sportsmanship and all that. Kids that age are VERY impressionable so let them see awesome sportsmanship from you and also play softball with them...That shows them that they can do what an adult can do. It helps. trust meI am coaching a softball team (new to me) any advice or pointers would be appreciated! girls are 7 and 8 yrs?

Make sure the girls learn sportsmanship, and have fun. That's all that matters at that age.
teach the gurlz good sportsmanship and be patient with them..

You can't advertise your site here - and that's what you are really doing. It is against the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and thus spamming

On a more critique end - it's a poorly designed site, very amateurish. That's from someone that has been designing sites for 13 years now.Rate my new website, need some advice, easy 10 points?
My advise is that if you are trying to make a website and you really want to be successfully start without ads!

Once you get visitors then you can throw in the ads. its not like your going to be making money anyway with out visitors.

Also you need to clean it up and make it look more industry standard.

    Good Luck!
loose the ads. also, change the background so it is easier to see the links. good luck man!

A few things to think about when purchasing a computer.

1.) How long is the warranty?

2.) Does it have the features that you need and is it capable of expansion for future needs?

3.) How much do you want to spend?

4.) How good is the companies support service?

Most of these can be found by going to sites that sell computer equipment, they have reviews.

And if price is omportant never buy more machine then you think you will need in the next 3-5 years.

But the most important thing is to always remember You have to be happy with your purchase.Buying a new PC in next 6 months some advice from techexperts?
Ok, first things first. You don't need something with a WHOLE bunch of RAM, cause it's expensive and really won't serve a purpose for the both of you. Grab something with 256 MB if possible.

Secondly, you should opt for a bigger hard drive, considering the amount of work you do. 120 GB should do you.

Other than that, grab a decent processor, I'd say 1.8 GHz or better, and you're off to the races.
The first place to start is cost. How much can you afford to spend?

The second place to work from is the operating system.

Linux - It's free, it will chop $70-100 off the cost of your computer if you get one with no OS or with Linux installed. All of the software to do what you want to do will be free. More reliable, more secure. No need to purchase software like anti-virus, popup blockers and such.

Downside. - Requires a bit of adjusting. To me Linux is far easier to use. Part of it is just that is what I've been using for a long time. Most things truely are easier to do under Linux. Most people are used to Window's annoyances and so the adjustment curve can be considered hard. Also some software like many games will not run under Linux.

Windows - If you plan to put windows on the machine then plan for Vista. In other words get 2 gigs of ram at the least. Get the largest hard drive offered. You'll need it and buy a top end machine because it's going to seem very slow soon as Vista stomps on it. No point putting Xp or W2k on the machine. You'll just have to upgrade to Vista in a short time as support for those operating systems wane. So by going with Windows you are looking at a far heavier cost in hardware. To do what you have described in Linux you could easily use a low end CPU, half a gig of RAM and a 100 gig hard drive and have very good performance and get at least 4 to 5 years usage from the machine.

One factor to consider is your learning software. It is possibly windows only and may not run on an emulator.

Ok now that you know what Operating system you want to run you can spec out the hardware.

    Linux

Whatever CPU is availible, it'll be plenty fast. AMD's are less expensive as a CPU but require much more effor to cool so the cost is about equal between AMD and Intel systems after you add in cooling.

Memory. The more the better for any OS. Min of 2 gigs for Windows, min 500 megs for Linux.

Hard drive. Min of 100 gigs.

Sound card - How are you importing sounds? YOu may want or need a Midi or other types of input on your sound card. If your already using a break out box then this is meaningless. Still if your doing alot of sound editing you probably want a decent sound card. Creative is really the standard today so go with a mid-level Creative sound card.

Nic cards - Have at LEAST 10/100. Most systems today come with 10/100/1g nic cards. Since you plan to use this for some time look for a nic card capable of 1giga bit traffic. That is what is coming and will be standard before the machine you plan to purchase is junked. It is not essential. You can always add a nic card down the road for relitively low costs. Just something that will give one system more value over another if all else is equal.

Unless your playing high end computer games or using very high end video editing software the run of the mill video card will suffice. The real issue is that high end video cards cost s a bunch. Stick with Nvidia or ATI video cards. The competitors use those chips and just rebrand them but can have incompatability issues. Do you need a video input? If so you will almost certainly have to purchase an upgraded or seperate video card.

Consider buying a break out box instead of a high end sound card. You can get one for less than $100 that is USB and will handle 1/4 inch inputs (you can use adaptors for others) and often comes with low end versions of software like sound forge for editing. Doing so will greatly improve the quality of the sound files you are bringing in.

In terms of CDroms, you want DVD read and burning capability. Don't even bother with a machine that doesn't come default with that already. The speeds of modern cd/dvds is more than sufficient. So if it's 44x or 50x who cares?

Now that you have a hardware list it's time to decide what machine to purchase.

The two main branches here are White boxes or propriatory machines. A White box is one built by yourself or a local computer shop. These are the highest and lowest quality machines you can buy. A good White box will be faster, cheaper and last far longer than any propriatory machine you can buy. If you buy a name brand machine you know for a fact your getting less than top quality, but you also get a known level of quality. So while it's slower, more expensive and a disposable machine it's a surer bet.

The quality can vary greatly with a White box. One machine I put together myself 10 years later got junked just because it was too old to do anything usefull any more. Everything still worked. I had to replace the floppy drive once and put 3 successively larger hard drives in it but that was it. It worked and worked and worked. Never quit. On average I get about 5 years out of a white box if I never upgrade it. I did have one die on me after 18 months. It was out of warrentee and suffered catastrophic failure in multiple components. I think the power supply started spiking the rest of the components. Another only lasted a little over 2 years before mother board failure.

Normally after about 3 years I will upgrade the mother board, CPU and RAM on a White box and have essentially a whole new faster computer. Changes in technology mean that you only get one or two upgrades like this but doing this I have a few machines that have lasted several years with periodic expenditures of $70-150 every 3 to 4 years. Upgrading a machine in such a way is easy to do. So when you buy a White box you really buy multiple machines at the same time.

With a name brand you buy a disposable computer. You cannot upgrade it down the road. You can put bigger hard drives in but many name brand cases make it difficult or impossible to add drives. So you cannot just add extra drive space you have to replace the old drive. Built in components sometimes are difficult to turn off so you cannot easily add a video card, a SCSCI controller or other upgrades to your machine. Few name brand machines come with more than 2 or 3 slots today. So if you go with a higher end video card and sound card and have to add a faster Nic card your done. You cannot add that special whiz bang card you want to without reverting back to the built in card. Most White boxes come with 4 to 7 availible slots. That means you can add a SATA raid card, SATA drives, extra nic cards, a better sound and Video card and STILL have room for more cards.

Which brings us to Hard drives. This is a tough choice right now. SATA is possibly the future of hard drives. It is also far from certain. Many SATA controllers are buggy and give people fits. SATA drives are noticably more expensive than IDE drives. SATA however allows for Raid functions, multiple drives and promises to be faster and a more flexable way of using devices like hard drives and cdroms. SATAs may compitition is USB drives. These drives are also expensive but are very portable. They are also dirt slow. However USB is deffinitely the future. The question is will USB or SATA be the primary drive in five years? Guess wrong and you have a drive system that is obsolete. So my advice would be to stick to IDE drives while that gets sorted out. If you buy a White box you can inexpensively add a SATA controller down the road. Many White boxe's come with both SATA and IDE controllers already. USB is plug and play so as long as you have slots no big deal.

That brings me to USB slots. The more the better. Pay attention as most devices today are going to be USB devices. Printers, scanners, hard drives, thumb drives and so on. Do NOT get a USB keyboard and mouse. That steals two of your USB slots for very low data usage devices and just clogs the USB channels with data best used off the PCI bus. BIOSes still do not really support the USB keyboards and mice with full compatability so there are minor annoyances using them. If you want an extender for either device that's tough. More so it makes it more of a pain to get to your USB ports. Almost forces you to buy a USB box to connect all your USB devices which slows them all down. Get a PS2 keyboard and mouse. Save your USB slots for cameras, printers and such. Devices that really need them. Look for the number and type of USB slots. Make sure that you have USB 1 compatable slots. There are lots of devices out there which have to revert to USB 1 to work at all with some bios chip sets. Also if Uncle Joe brings over his old USB device which uses USB 1 you want him to be able to plug in. At least theoritcally. You might not like Uncle Joe :) Most USB slots will be USB 2 by default and support older devices, but you want to look at that and be sure. Having USB slots on the front of the computer is a nice feature. Makes it MUCH easier to get to them. Caution, Dell's are notorious for thier front USB slots being fickle.

Now it's time to look for the machine that you want. Do you risk buying a White box for the added value, peformance and durability or do you stick with safe slow performing disposable name brand? Alot of that question is answered by who do you call if something breaks? If it's a vital machine you might want to go the safe route if you have nobody to call on. If you know or can get somebody to work on the machine that you trust, then the White box is the better value. Most machines never need hardware work in the first couple years. If it fails it'll fail in the first 90 days then run for years without problems normally. Hard drives being the most likely to fail. Unfortunately the WORST hard drive manufacturer bought out the by far best. Seagate the maker of junk hard drives wiped out Western Digital which made unkillable drives :( The IT comunity mourns the loss of Western Digital. I have 12 year old Western Digitals that STILL work! Most WD drives I've bought were retired because they got too small rather than died.

So you want a good back up solution as there is no really reliable hard drive being made any more. Seagate killed both of them (Conner and Western Digital) by buying them out. So be prepared to replace your Hard drive at least once in the first few years. Few drives made today are going to give you more than 3 or 4 years. With Seagates you'll be lucky to get two. I'd recomend using Maxtor or Fujitsu drives. Anything but a Seagate. With Western Digital owned by Seagate now I would not trust Western Digital drives.

As for Ipods, most Operating systems today support Ipod usage. You'll have to install some software. Mac and Windows are supported by Apple by default. With Linux you have to download software but there are lots of it availible to use the Ipod.

Last note, as for the OS choice. You can dual boot and have both until you decide one or the other is just eating up your disk space. To give Linux a spin on your current machine just go to www.knoppix.org and download the ISO. Click on the American flag, the website is in german by default. Anyway download the ISO, burn it as a CD image. Then reboot your machine. You will have a minimal version of Linux that runs purely off your CD. Configure your networking, most likely DHCP if your using broadband and you can surf the web and do everything else you othwise would all without touching anything on your hard drive. Since it's CD based you can't download files or stuff like that. No way to write them to the CD.

Anway hope this helped. Your welcome to email me questions. I tried to cover all the options in detail. Give you an idea of the options availible. What is best depends on your circumstances and budget.

    Quick side note.

256 megs of ram is not sufficient for ANY modern OS. 1 Gig is bare minium for current versions of windows. 2 gigs for Vista and plan on using Vista if your going to use windows.

Tech support is a joke with every major computer manufacturer. Warentees cost money today. It's become a major sideline business for computer manufacturers. Fine print details are hard to discern intitially. I would not count on the warentee of any computer manufacturer. It's nice to have. They might even honor it by sending you junker after junker until you just get mad and buy another brand. I've seen it with HP, with Dell with IBM and with Gateway. I personally have zero faith in warentees. At home I own almost all White boxes. I have one Dell. The rest I built myself or had built for me at a local computer shop. I am a system admin by trade and deal with hundreds of computers in my line of work. So I've had the misery of trying to deal with warentees before. It's not been a nice experience with ANY company. Few first level tech support people know anything, even if you can get one that speaks English well enough to understand. 2nd level might know what a computer is. Third level if you can jargon your way up to it is where you might get a real answer. The machines sent to you are refurbished machines that died for somebody else. If your lucky they last until the warrentee dies. On more than one occasion with more than one manufcactuer we went from one lemon to another until the warrentee expired and we just junked the lemon. So there is risk of getting a lemon from name brand manufacturers as well as White boxes. Just a lower risk. If you can find a really good computer shop they actually fix problems and stand by thier warrentees. This is uncommon however. Most of the time they do whatever they can to not spend a dime as thier profit margions are already too slim. I've seen a batch of lemons actually push a local computer company out of the White box market.
    any latest computer is enough

  • OK Ladies...any advice on a new bra?

So my boobs have never hurt more. I have never had big boobs, but now they are huge and killing me. I need support do you have any suggestions?OK Ladies...any advice on a new bra?
Time to go shopping in the grannie department for the full figured supportive bras! OR better yet, if you are pregnant (I am assuming because this is under pregnancy) you can go get a maternity bra, they are special made JUST for this problem! You can go to JCPenney.com or VictoriaSecret.com and it will give you instructions on how to measure so you will know what size you need. One of the most common mistakes with this kind of thing is that people are wearing the wrong sized bra, which can cause pain.OK Ladies...any advice on a new bra?
The It bra from Victoria's Secret. It offers a lot of support
Wear bras with thicker straps that support those girls. And the rule for bras is that the band should be doing most of the support to relieve some of the tension from the straps.
I've had to wear Victoria's Secret since high school because I've always been big up top and they provide the most comfortable support. (I'm a 38DD) and it's true - they're expensive but you'll get a good bra!
Hit up victoria secret, they are expensive, but you do pay for the best. Or go to Taget and try some on, see what feels comfortable for you!

I have over 100 new ideas to develop. Has anyone invested in this sort of venture to give advice?

You need to research the ideas to see if there is a market for them. You may think its great but if there is no market for them they are not going to make you any money are they. You could try this piece of software that will show you how to make these ideas profitable if they are. I hope this helps you out. Heres to your success

What is your New Year's resolution? Any advice on what mine should be?

MINE WILL BE THAT SAME THIS YEAR AS IT HAS BEEN FOR MANY A YEAR IN A ROW NOW. NO RESOLUTIONS. WHY BOTHER? YOU KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO BREAK THEM ANYWAY SO DON'T LIE TO YOURSELF.What is your New Year's resolution? Any advice on what mine should be?
whine less....have more fun....quit living in the past......be more kind to others........quit putting off projects.......hmmm....there's always the good ol fashioned ';lose weight, be more organized, blah blah blah';, but those never work just because they're a new year's resolution. Pick ONE thing (don't get overwhelmed!!!) that's making your life chaos and choose to resolve it. Just don't wait till the first! When you wake up in the morning get to it. Dont put it off any longer or you probably won't do it on the first either! What is your New Year's resolution? Any advice on what mine should be?
My resolutions are to workout more, become a better conversationalist, and to stop procrastinating. As far as your resolution, it should be something that your heart desires the most. It can consist of starting an exercise program, eating healthier, stop smoking, losing weight, or developing better self confidence and self esteem. Whatever your resolution is, it should be something that you want to change most about yourself.

Spoke with ex I dated for 5 years. Broke up 2 years ago. Were both dating new people. Need advice?

I was hoping for some advice. Its a long story but ill sum it up. Me and my ex dated from when I was 15 to 20. We were crazy kids in love and went through a lot. We were young and immature and got too serious when we were too young. We wound up hurting each other a lot and made lots of mistakes. Towards the end, we were dating on and off and I didn't treat her the way I should have due to being young and immature. We began fighting alot due to me having family problems and falling into a depression. I ended it b/c I just couldnt handle a relationship anymore. I wound up leaving her a nasty email and thats how things left off. 2 years later were more mature, im dating someone new and things are rocky. I didnt like the way i left things off so I emailed her apologizing. We started talking on the phone and were both dating other people and care about them... but arent in love with them. I thought I was over her after 2 years, but it seems like I was wrong... Very confused right now.ThanksSpoke with ex I dated for 5 years. Broke up 2 years ago. Were both dating new people. Need advice?
It's great you both still have feelings for each other, but you need to work things out in your current relationship first. If things don't work out then call your ex back and see where things are..but until you're finished with the current one don't seek out the ex. Things have to happen naturally. If you are meant to be together things will happen on their own. Just be patient and see.Spoke with ex I dated for 5 years. Broke up 2 years ago. Were both dating new people. Need advice?
It is very common for people to forget the bad and only remember the good. It didn't work. You were young. Unfortunately, you're still young. The lust has worn off this current relationship and you're wondering now why you ever left the first girl. I can promise you, two years from now, you'll be looking back at the girl you are currently with and wondering why it ever ended.

You've opened a can of worms. I suppose you two can get back together, but don't look for it to last. When you're 40 and look back, then you've matured. You really haven't yet.
You should check out the site http://www.connectioncounselor.com as it helped me get through the struggles and eventually marry my girlfriend. Good luck to you!

so do you think u have feelings for her still??? hmm this is very confusing. i think for the time being, u should still be with ur current gf, but keep in touch with ur ex, and if things start to spice up again and u want to get back together, then break up with ur current gf. but make sure ur ex feels the same way. if i were u, i would try to patch things up with ur ex, coz it sounds like u have been through alot after being with eachother for 5 years. good luck!!
you need to sort out your feelings. if you still like your ex you need to break up with the other girl before things get anymore serious. Maybe now that you and your ex are older and more mature you can have a better relationship. Good luck
Well how long have u been with the person ur with. U don't really love someone after just a month or so. Give this new person a chance and remember that u guys broke up for a reason. Ya u were young and immature but chaces are if u decided to go out again u would prolly go right back to the way things were.

Any Advice. If someone wants out of a bad marriage and their in a new state.?

They have no recourse's what should they do?Any Advice. If someone wants out of a bad marriage and their in a new state.?
Divorce papers for that county in that state are available at the county court house, on line and in many office supply places. If the divorce is not contested, and the other side will sign without a big todo, agree how the estate, what there may be of it, is to be split. In places on the forms where there is nothing to declare, put the null set sign (a 0 with a slash thru it). Submit, with both signature to the countycourt house, along with the fee. The judge will sign it, stamp it, and copies sent to each of you with a date stating when you are each considered a single person. Cost: filing fee + cost of papers.Any Advice. If someone wants out of a bad marriage and their in a new state.?
You can file for a legal separation.

In some states, you have to reside in either the state or county for 6 months before you can file for a divorce.

Check with the local courthouse for any restrictions.

Now if you were to move back home, and then file for the divorce, your husband would have to hire an attorney in the state the divorce was filed in.
She/He would have to reside in Georgia for at least 6 months in order to file for divorce in that state. Otherwise, the only option is to go back to the state she/he previously resided in to file.
When my parents got divorced, we lived in a state where she had no family. She simply took my brother and I with her, we boarded a plane, and flew to my grandparent's town. It's that simple.

  • Any advice for an 8th grader starting out at a brand new school???

I'm not very shy but its hard to approach new people. Help me out plz???Any advice for an 8th grader starting out at a brand new school???
Hon, just be yourself and let them approach you.Any advice for an 8th grader starting out at a brand new school???
It like starting new at any another school. Just be yourself. Any way people usually approach new kids because (in a mysterious way) they look interesting.
Choose your friends wisely. Be friendly to all as you get to know who's who. You don't want to wind up in a group that looked good at first but ends up not being right for you. Maybe this is a dumb idea, but sharing something can help others see that you are friendly and generous. Bring some extra pencils, or better yet fun mints. Have one yourself and offer them to kids nearby. Be ready to ask a question like, ';What's good for lunch here?'; or ';Do you play any sports?';. Good luck and enjoy your new school!

Should I get a brand new Macbook? I need advice..?

I want to get a Macbook but i'm unsure of it because they are so exspensive. For you Macbook or Mac owners, what exactly do you own? Hoe do you like it? Enjoy it? Should i? i'm in college, i'm used to Windows but i plan to get the software to use both Windows %26amp; Mac on the Macbook....also, anyone know if any new Macbooks are coming out during the new year? Should i wait? What's your advice? Thanks!Should I get a brand new Macbook? I need advice..?

http://www.theidoctor.blogspot.com/Should I get a brand new Macbook? I need advice..?
I have a Macbook with the twin processors. It's lovely for pretty much everything, but I do recommend also getting Office for Mac which is much better than Appleworks. The operating system is very self-explanatory- if anything easier than Windows (it is for me anyway). I would recommend it for anyone. So much easier than PCs.
i have a mac g5 it is perfect and it has enough memory space
    love
wait untill 2008 and if your used to windows you might have some trouble adjusting to mac but its great for colleage
If you are a casual computer user then I think you will love MacBook. It just looks great feels great but if you are already into PC and use a lot of PC software then I guess you should think about it more as you might find Mac frustrating at first.

For great MacBook deals, you should try ebay.

http://www.macbooksale.com lists ebay auctions in well organized categories so you should be able to find what you want.
I never had one myself, but i have borrowed one from my friend. It has a way better style than any other laptop brand hands down. Even the desktop controls are cool and u can download coool applications for it. It has cool magnets for the ports, and it has way more security than a Windows platform.

HAving a macbook, the controls are a little more similar to your average windows computer. (as u might know using a apple desktop for the first time is a real challenge.)

Macbooks are more expensive but overall i say get 1! maybe even 2..or3...heck 4 and mail me 1 :)

Osx leapord came out recently so dont worry about a new operating system coming out

here is a pretty goood macbook.

its small so its easy to travel with and with 2.0GHz i think it can handle a lot............

and in response to the poster above, Macs can get virii.

And Macs are just as commonly used as Windows.....with professionals. Your average person would just pick windows because they think its the best. It is very difficult to write viruses for macs, so that is an advantage.
I don't own one, but I would like one too. I may suggest going to an Apple Store. They can tell all you may need about them. From what I have read, they are powerful and really good. Good Luck with finding one. And yes, they are expensive, a bit too expensive in my opinion...
I am in business with my MacBook and I love it but not with out some reservations.

The differences in quality and usability that I have found are the following.

My MacBook is very smooth to use, it never freezes and is easy to use with lots of feel good compenents like built in camera that is installed and connected to software that is easy to use, everything is already connected with no irritating installs. The smooth experience is the product of every component on my computer, including most of the software being made by apple, for apple. When you buy a PC parts come from all over the place, made by thousands of different people, thats why things go wrong.

The only drawbacks are 1. the price and 2. compatibility. Sometimes I find things that run only on PC's or when I send a document over from my apple to my boss's PC the spacing is off. I am computer savvy but not an expert by any means and I can usually overcome any problem with a little problem solving.

If you get the mac expect to fall in love with lots of little conveniences but dont forget, you payed for them.
I dint think to buy the BRAND new is a good thing. They might have errors that are not fixed yet. Better buy the last year, so at least they already know their mistakes and working on to fix it.

Its also been said there no viruses on Mac, but its not that there is no viruses, its that not many people have Mac, so not many people actually write viruses for it. But wait a little bit, and there will be plenty.

Also its supergood cause it has wireless internet, so wherewhere there is network in the air, and not blocked - you got internet! You can park on a street, and use internet from somebody else's house. Pretty cool.

Iam new on net need advice ebay will not accept my email?

Normally I would say it is because you have already used that email address with ebay but if your new on the net that's unlikely.

Maybe open another email account with yahoo or hotmail, this could just be used for ebay stuff.

Are you sure you haven't missed out some other details? Like Name/Postcode?

Try the community help boards on ebay, here are Q%26amp;A written by other ebayers so they should have solutions to your problems.Iam new on net need advice ebay will not accept my email?
what email company are you using ?

Trying new things? Tips and Advice?

I am a lonely person, so I don't get much action. Therefore, in order to satisfy myself I have sex with objects. I have been recently trying the knots in trees, but the bark of the tree scratches my dong. I have also tried flashlights and bottles, but when my dong gets stuck it causes for embarrassing trips to the hospital.

Do you have any tips for objects that I can have sex with and still be able to enjoy myself.Trying new things? Tips and Advice?

I need advice about a new relationship at age 40; we made love after only two weeks.?

We connected very quickly and love being together. We both have been celibate for five years. Two days later, I am freaking out, knowing that it happened too fast, but also sure that I care for him. Is premarital sex such a huge issue when one is in her 40's? I would appreciate advice.I need advice about a new relationship at age 40; we made love after only two weeks.?
i really don't think that premarital sex is a huge issue at all, regardless of age. but everyone has their own view. i think that if you both connected that quickly, expressing your love physically was a very natural and loving thing and you really should be happy, not feeling guilty. 5 years is a long time and it's obvious that making love is something you take to heart, which is rare these days and good ;)I need advice about a new relationship at age 40; we made love after only two weeks.?
honey no it isnt ,at 40 you know what you want enjoy eachother and just relax and let it happen!!!!!
Are you some kind of prude waiting 2 whole weeks????/ lol no, sorry just teasing. No it's not a big deal especially at our age. This is usually when women are in their prime sexually anyway. Don't feel bad or sweat it.
    Go with the flow
If you care for each other and want to be together, why should it be an issue? Enjoy it and stop with the guilt. Are you Catholic or something? hehe.
    Well, that settles it.

    You're a s l u t, and you're gonna go to Heck.

    Heck, I tells ya!
Lets just say we should have some gain with our age. Uncaring sex is always a big deal, but what you are talking about is perfectly acceptable. No one is using anyone else, no one put pressure on anyone, it was just a very happy and loving time had by all. Of course precautions must be taken, you don't want a late life baby and stds can remain active for years after contraction so you have to be just as careful as any other age group about that.

Other than that, have a good time, its only too fast if you aren't happy with him.
    no is not a problem

u r at ur sexual peek

    come on have fun

    stop doing that

    have fun girl yummy
not at all..... this isnt the 50's...... as long as u were safe, and enjoyed urself, and have feelings for each other, nothing is wrong with that..... everyone has needs
Only if you feel as if you feel it was wrong. Just go and live in the moment. and enjoy life.
I dont think premarital sex is such a biggie. Its probably better to 'test drive' your partner and make sure you are totally compatiable.
well apparently premarital sex is not a big deal anymore and it is not like you are a virgin. If he is not having a problem with it do not worry about it. Sometimes when you are older things just happen quickly and are right
Hon, your both adults and been there, done that. No one can or should dictate when it is too soon to have sex when BOTH of the parties involved are agreeance to do it WHEN they feel like it. Also, the deed is done so stop fretting about it. Once you get up in age (I'm 37) there is sooo much of the beginning stage and crapola that you don't need. Your older and wiser. Hold your head and do NOT live life with regrets. Take care.
Obviously, the best answer is to wait until marriage, but if he didn't dump you after a few months of sex, then you are probably onto something really good. Best of luck to you!
just follow your heart. if you think that you are moving to fast then slow it down some. you can have a great relationship without having sex all the time.
just make sure you are both moving at the same pace, dont go too aheah or stay behind for fear, enjoy it, at 40 you should know what is best for you
you dont need any advice after the fact. go with the flow. have fun!
dont worry about it. you are an adult enjoy your life. consider yourself lucky that you found a man at your age that makes you both act like lovestruck teenagers!!!! enjoy the sex before you get too old to have it!
I'm 41 and I would say that premarital sex is not a huge issue as long as you used protection against STDs.

If you enjoyed it, try not to feel regrets. What is there to regret?

Fashion advice for a fashion idiot: what do i wear to a company picnic, hubby is new partner in small company?

Hi! I would REALLY appriciate any advice you could lend. I am so nervous. My husband joined a new company this year, and I haven't had to meet anyone yet. This weekend I am supposed to be hosting a picnic at a local park. I had some cheap barbeque catered, someone else is helping me set up some casual games good for families, etc. The problem is I am not in fashion right now at all, and i have to look my best since I am going to be scrutinized, and I also will be bringing my 3 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old sons with me (and man are they a handful!) What do you think? I'm screwed right? My kids are going to scream the whole time and I am going to be dressed like an idiot. Oh please help! Also, tank tops are not an option, I inherited my grandmothers upper arms (not so attractive). Thanks so much for any advice!! : )Fashion advice for a fashion idiot: what do i wear to a company picnic, hubby is new partner in small company?
Don't put so much emphasis on what you're wearing to this picnic! Trust me, your hubby's partner's are going to be watching how you handle yourself, not your wardrobe. Wear something functional, yet cool - say a pair of tailored shorts, a sleevless shell with a cute matching shirt over. That way, if it gets really warm, you can shed the shirt and still look classy. Go show your hubby that you are truly HIS LADY! Enjoy!!!!Fashion advice for a fashion idiot: what do i wear to a company picnic, hubby is new partner in small company?
Look classy and conservative. It works in all situations!
Wear a pair of comfortable denim or khaki capris with some cute brown or leather sandals. Wear a nice, button down, fitted shirt (NOT in white- but with 2 little kids you probably know this by now :). Whatever you wear, just be comfortable. If you're self-conscious, everyone else will see it, and you won't make a good impression. You just planned a fabulous picnic, have two great kids, and your husband is a partner in his company. Who could scrutinize and judge you after that?
shop @ macys dont look 2 old! wear pink!!!and black pants stuff like that. if u want a younger look, try forever 21 or charlottte russe
OK, first of all, as trite as it sounds, you have to convince yourself that you're a fun, interesting person! And while your children will be children, they're really only insufferable when their parents aren't even attempting to control them.

As for what to wear, I would suggest something casual but still nice-looking. Try a nice short-sleeved shirt with capris or a casual skirt and sandals (paint your toenails!). Wear some simple earrings or a simple pendant necklace. This outfit doesn't look like you're trying too hard, and fits pretty much any outdoor event. And don't forget your smile!

  • HELP!!! Any advice for the new girl in town?!?!?!?!

Ok, so I currently move from Arlington country to Fairfax county, and dis is going to be my 8th grade year, and I'm gonna be new there, I'll have no freinds at all on the first day, I'm so scared, any advice to make a good first impression?!?!?!HELP!!! Any advice for the new girl in town?!?!?!?!
Just be yourself! Be nice and friendly and don't go begging for friends. Once people see how friendly you are, they would want to be friends with you.

However, don't be too friendly. There are some who want to use you if they see weakness that they can manipulate.HELP!!! Any advice for the new girl in town?!?!?!?!
just be yourself. join some clubs, then you meet people with similar interests. new situations like that can be scary, but you will make friends. If you are into music, athletics, theater, join those groups. you will meet amazing people.
Be yourself. Don't be shy, talk to people. i was in the same situation 2 years ago. And i got a lot of friends from just being my self. And also be open.
Don't try to do things that you know are not right just so you can fit it. Make new friends by instead being yourself and being kind to others. Be open-minded as well.
learning how to speak english may help your first impression.

If that doesn't go so good, start having sex with everybody.
keep your head up. be confident, but dont be rude. and be sweet to people, you never know who is going to be your new best friend.
Don't wear anything slutty, smile at people and try not to be too shy. don't answer tons of questions in class or people will think you're a nerd. good luck!
    Be Yourself
be yourself, talk to people and fine yourself some friends. Oh don't listen to the haters
don't be shy be you ...
I agree with the second dude

I Need New Skis and Advice?

I currently ride a pair of 2001 Dynastar Agyl Plus 170cm skis.

I bought them when I first started skiing.

    They are a beginner/intermediate ski.

I am 6' tall and 160 pounds, an advanced/expert skier with 200+ days under my belt and am in desperate need of a new pair of skis. Right now I use my skis for everything; bumps, powder, ice, groomers, slush, chunder, moguls, trees, rock chutes, etc. You've heard of it, I've skied it on my skis and they suck.

I need new skis that are stable on high speed groomers, fast edge to edge, don't chatter, have a tighter turning radius than my current skis, lightweight, stiffer rather than softer, very maneuverable in tight trees, good on bumps and in the powder and I also don't really want to spend more than $300-$400. I want to buy 2005 or newer.

Advise me on some skis that would work in the above situations so I can go demo them.

You might want to refine your needs a bit for example a ski that is quick edge to edge and good on high speed groomers might not be the best in powder. Here are some skis that come close k2 recon,Volkl ac30,Volkl Mantra,Salomon xwing fury,Line Prophet 90-100.you might not be able to find these in that price range but it's a step in the right direction

The best new technology out there is from Lib Technologies. It's called magnetraction and is amazing. The edge is wavy under foot so it has several biting contact points. The grip is unrivaled. It makes them very versatile, so that even a wider, powder ski can kill it on icy groomed runs and you can take them anywhere. Check out the freeride narrow *** snowboard. Yes, it is a ski, not a snowboard. They're not extremely expensive and well worth it. Here it is.

I had a pair of fishers that were really great. I think that you would be happy with them. I liked them over my dynastars, lines, and k2s.

    The performed excellent.

Blizzard also makes a realy good ski. But they are pricey.

Also, your skis might just need a wax and sharpened. I guarntee if you havent bye now, the need it, really bad. It would make a world of difference in the ski themselves and its alot cheaper.

    Good luck

What's the best advice you have ever gotten about how to search for a new job?

Do what you love, and the money will follow.

It may not follow immediately, but it DOES follow. Very nicely, too.

Good luck! What's the best advice you have ever gotten about how to search for a new job?
send resumes to every company not only the ones looking for help in the paper

find company's that do have your job ie welder, machine operator

    and send them your paperwork

    also think outside the box

if you sit at a desk and file type answer phones etc etc

remember even a factory has a phone and paperwork

they need you tooWhat's the best advice you have ever gotten about how to search for a new job?
Networking. Never be afraid to talk to people about what you are looking for and asking them about what they are doing. Even when you think they might not directly be able to help you, if you present yourself well, they might know someone who can and be willing to connect you. Be patient. Networking takes time to build relationships. Keep in touch but don麓t be a pest. Just an occassional hello, so that you remain a fresh face. Keep business cards and write where and when you met and what you spoke of as a reminder. You never know when you will need it. Good luck!
Early in the day. Thats when its more likely the manager himself will be there and you could talk to him directly. Go alone. Ive seen too many kids looking for jobs with buddies, as if they need help or handholding. Not a good first impression. Dress neatly, but not overdress. Have good manners and look directly in the eyes. Wait a few days then call back or go back in to check on the status of your app. This shows real interest in the job.

    Good luck.
Put your resume on CareerBuilder or Monster. Make sure your resume is easy to read because recruiters can be picky. Most companies don't allow you to apply in person so your resume is your first impression - make it a good one.

    Best wishes
The first law of wing walking says: ';Don't let go with one hand until you have a hold of something else with the other hand.'; In the case of a job don't leave the old one before you have a new one. It's better to walk into an interview with the attitude of I really don't have to get this job.
Free money honey!! Ive found what u have been looking for. surfing the web for free these days? Not me. I've made good money doing what u r doing right now. Starting a new business: Any advice on the ad I have so far?

The ad I have so far (to go in the yellow pages) is as follows:

Pet Services: We do it all!

    Pet Sitting, Dog walking/running

    (with water available, toys/playtime,

    %26amp; a brushing afterward),

    Pet Waste Management鈥?and more!

Quality you can trust, and we鈥檒l

    beat any competitor鈥檚 prices.

    Call ***-***-****

And there is a cute little puppy cartoon to go beside it, but for some reason it wouldn't post here.

What do you think? I think it sounds too wordy, but is there anyway I could cut down on the wording and still get the point across?

Any other advice? Thank you so much!!!!Starting a new business: Any advice on the ad I have so far?
Pretty good -- I agree with you, though, that it seems too wordy. Perhaps you could condense it to something like:

We do it all. Will beat any competitor's prices. Quality you can trust.

Call ***-***-**** for pet services such as pet sitting, dog walking, pet waste management and so much more.Starting a new business: Any advice on the ad I have so far?

    2. the empire state building? you know how high can i go up

    3. and i heard there was a play called billy eliot that is really good

these are just three questions that i had but i want more advice like where to go and where to eat; popular places and areas like times square

so like what should i do there; help me out please...i want to have a good time

thx sooooooo much in advanceI need New York travel advice?
    1) It's not called ';9/11'; it's called ';Ground Zero,'; and, sadly, it mostly looks like a construction site. Yes, you can just walk right up to it, and there's a museum, too, that may have tours (see link, below).

    2) The Empire State Building is 102 stories tall and has observation decks at the 86th and 102nd floors. The best views, in my opinion, are after dark, when the city's all lit up like a Christmas tree, and it's open 'til midnight (see link, below).

    3) Yes, there is a Tony-winning play called ';Billy Elliot'; which is described thusly: ';A life-affirming musical about a young boy beating all odds to fulfill his dream of dancing.'; Tickets can be expensive, though (see link, below).

Good luck, check out the links, below, and enjoy your trip to NYC...
