Food! Always fun to get lollies and chocolates from another country. Just be sure to check that none of the food contravenes their quarantine laws (candy is usually fine).
I'm from Los Angeles and would like some advice on what to bring for relatives in New Zealand?
How old are the relavtives youre going to visit? If theyre young children, they'd probably like something mickey mousie or candy or something along those lines. I'm in NZ and I know when we visited LA we bought a heap of T-shirts for everyone from Venice Beach. They were pretty cool or funny and pretty reasonably priced. Customs is pretty strict here but theyre ok as long as you declare any food youre bringing in. If you bring sealed bags of candy etc, they will just wave you through without a problem. Theyre more worried about fruit or plants etc. I'm from Los Angeles and would like some advice on what to bring for relatives in New Zealand?
