Dubai New Labour Law. Please advice.?

hello. I was wondering. I'm working here in Dubai to a private contracting company for one year and 5 months now. I'm planning to resign next month. I heard that there is a new labour law. Do I'll get a ban if I will resign? do I need to go home to my home country? If can find a new employer, does my former company has the right to ban me? thank you.Dubai New Labour Law. There is no new Labor Law. NOC is needed, regardless if your visa gets cancelled or transferred. Unless a few cases, NOC is needed always. If your present employer does not provide you with the NOC, you automatically will receive a 6 months ban from MOL. With this ban you only can take employment at FZs.





The 6 months work ban is not imposed by the employer, you'll receive it automatically from MOL. Ask for the NOC BEFORE you resign. If you can't get the NOC, you'll have to return home and re-enter the UAE on a new employment visa from a new sponsoring company.
