The other thing I discovered was that when you get to the point where you are about ready to close, get a copy of the FULL closing package in advance of closing. You should read absolutely every word of every document you will be signing to be sure you don't have any questions before you get to the closing attorney's office. You want to have all of the questions answered before you are in the stressful environment of sitting at the closing table. (I learned the hard way that sellers can get a bit angry at having to watch you read 100 pages of legal documents while they are waiting to get their money:-)
