Any advice for an 8th grader starting out at a brand new school???

I'm not very shy but its hard to approach new people. Help me out plz???Any advice for an 8th grader starting out at a brand new school???

It like starting new at any another school. Just be yourself. Any way people usually approach new kids because (in a mysterious way) they look interesting.
Choose your friends wisely. Be friendly to all as you get to know who's who. You don't want to wind up in a group that looked good at first but ends up not being right for you. Maybe this is a dumb idea, but sharing something can help others see that you are friendly and generous. Bring some extra pencils, or better yet fun mints. Have one yourself and offer them to kids nearby. Be ready to ask a question like, ';What's good for lunch here?'; or ';Do you play any sports?';. Good luck and enjoy your new school!
