New puppy names/advice?

Ok, here's the deal. We unexpectedly have a new puppy in our home. He was taken from his mommy WAY to early, and now the people that bought him decided that he's too much work. So... he's ended up here. He is being bottle fed. I cannot get a straight answer on his age, but the vet is estimating between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 weeks. He is a pit bull, blue in color, with a white patch on his chest and face. I'm looking for name suggestions, and any advice on how to care for him. I have 2 other pit bulls, but they are both rescue dogs and came to live with me when they were already 2-3 years old. I've never experienced a puppy this little.New puppy names/advice?

Well, you just need to follow your vets instructions. Keep bottle feeding and call the vet as much as you need too! I am sure they won't mind if you tell them that you have never had a puppy that little. From reading you say it is a boy by using words such as him and he. So some boy suggestion names that I would reccommend would have to be the following:

Well I have a 13 week old pit bull puppy and you don't need much to make them happy . Get some chew toys because he will need them for his teeth , get a kennel because that's the easiest way to potty train them and in a few weeks when he is ready for puppy food make sure you start off with something kinda soft . Now as far as Names go here are a few I like : Sky , Bronx , Chico , Gizmo , BamBam , or even Gino. Hope this helps ..

You should name him Meeraco. (Slang male version for miracle.) Or name him Smuppy. (Small puppy.) So around 4 1/2 weeks to 5 1/2 weeks he should be starting the weaning process. Which you probably know is the event of switching to puppy food. Most people do this by smashing dry high quality puppy food and mix it with water. Make sure he has all his shots that he should have at that age. Get him dewormed. No bathing him until he is 8 weeks and every 1-3 months from there. If you have any specific questions ask someone with a little more information on here than me since I only research dogs, but will not have one until this summer.
