20x dvd combo thingy


3gb of 800mhz ddr2


and a samsung syncmaster 226bw





im ggoing to play games do you think that the 8800gt is good etc





is the worth the upgrade to quad core (q6600)

Yes 8800gt is a super good card and no do not upgrade to quad core because some applications do not yet support quad core. So for now use dual core but in the future think about running quad core.New gaming rig advice plz?

Yes 8800gt is a good gaming card.





If you already have an e8400 then it is definitely NOT worth the upgrade to q6600. If you don't have anything yet, you could get a q6600 for almost the same or even cheaper than an e8400 at some places.
