To make friends....


wear cool clothes: AE, Aeropostale, Abercrombie %26amp; Fitch, Hollister, etc.


talk to people that you sit near in your classes


try to remember where you're going so you don't look lost


going into a new grade(even if it is a new school) is basically the same for everyone


i went to a new school last year(which was my 7th grade year) i thought that everybody else knew what was going on and everything, but they actually didn't!!! they knew as much as i did, so it's not that badIt is my first day at a new school in 7th grade any advice?

hun im going to high school!! ahh lol all i can say is 7th grade isnt really nothing my only advice is have fun and be yourself dont be another fakke a$$ girl and ofcurse luck!
expect a lot of attention, everyone will be talking about you and trying to figure out who you are and where u r from it will be soo cool. so have fun with it!! just be your self and you'll make friends in no time.
7th wasent a big change for me because it was the same school. just new teachers and i had good ones that year...im the one who should be scared im going to be a freshman this year!!!
You'll do fine! Just concentrate on your math. Just make sure you have all of the supplies! Back 2 School shopping.

the only things that you need is your friends and you just need to be yourself because if you are someone that you are really not then you will look dumb and it won't be good!!!=)
my family moved to iowa when i was in 6th grade so i had to go to a new school starting in 7th grade.. at first its kind of hard.. you dont know anyone.. it just takes time.. as long as your friendly and smile you will make friends in no time.. just remember it takes time.. dont expect to make friends the first day.. just talk to people, be friendly and be patient.. the more classes you take with people the more you know them.. at lunch ask ppl if u can sit by them and see what they like.. if they dont talk about anything you are into then try a different table the next day.. no one said that this is easy but you will fit in in no time.. try out for the sports and activities you like.. you will meet ALOT of ppl and be their friends.. just remember.. it takes a little time and patience but you will be fine after a couple of days.. I went to school for the first time last year, although i went into 8th, not 7th like you. ( I was homeshooled) I was a little nervous, but it turned out great.


1. People were really friendly, be friendly back! Make eye contact and try to remember people's names; andif you forget names, just ask, they will be glad you are making the effort!


2. don't limit yourself to one group of friends. Try to be friendly with everyone, whether they are goth, punk preppy, sporty, or whatever! You will have more friends, have a better perspective on drama (there WILL be drama), and you might find a best friend you never expected!


3. Be respectful to teachers, and maintain eye contact with them. Try to participate in class, and share your opinions. Both the teachers and students will think its cool that you have an opinionabout things, no matter how against the grain it is.


4. Don't go out with a boy just because he likes you... I saw way too many girls go out with creeps just because they were so desparate to have a boyfriend. Be very picky! People respect that!


5.Be confident! Stick to your opinions and hold your head up! People are attracted to people who are confident in themselves!


6. Be yourself! People are attracted to unique people! The leaders in middle school are the ones who stick out, the rest are imitators! DON';T BE AN IMITATOR!!!


7. Keep yourself clean! As obvious as this may seem, you would be surprised at how many kids in middle school are greasy and kinda gross... wash your hair! wash your face! Shower often! lol


8. Makeup- don't wear very much, if you do at all. Never wear foundation! It looks really bad at the end of the day, and it covers the natural glow of a girls face! Foundation is for middle aged women! Don't become dependat on makeup! If you come to the point where you feel ugly without it, STOP! At our age, natural is best, maybe some mascara,(waterproof) and lipgloss...p.s. I have heard many guys say girls look wierd and ugly with a lot of makeup, and I've also heard them say natural looks best on girls our age


9.Clothes- wear what you like! Don't follow all the trends, and mix and match! Also, wear comfy clothes, if you canstantly have to tuck things in or pull things up or down, its not worth it!


10. Be kind to everyone, and don't talk about people behind their backs, it always gets back to them. Don't say you hate someone, and then turn around and act like their best friend, it will make people wonder what you are saying behind THEIR backs!Don't do things you know you shouldn't and don't do things you will regret!





Most of all: don't stress, eat breakfast, and get a good nights sleep! Have a good time! Goof around once in a while! Laugh at yourself, but keep your self respect! Act natural, and people will like you!

dont try too hard and dont date older guys. their hoes. if someone likes u go out with them or youll end up regretting it. 7th grade is the year youll never forget. make sure you dont regret it either. take what comes for u. dont wait for what u want like i did.

Be your self! Act like your self and people will love you just the way you are!
As cliched as it is just be yourself. Make eye contact, smile and look friendly. Compliment someone's outfit or haircut that you like. Look for friendly faces that you can ask if you can sit with them for lunch.
