New Public school advice?

Well i've been going to public school in a small town my whole life except for last year. My family moved and i went to a private school for my ninth grade year. The town i live in is pretty big. This summer i decided it wasn't really for me because i didn't really fit in with the kids there. So i've decided to go back to public school for the rest of high school. The problem is that i've never really gone to a school with over like a 1000 kids, so i was just looking for advice on how to make the transition from private to public school. I'm gonna be going to tenth grade, so im sure it'll be harder to make new friends and everything. :[New Public school advice?
just be yourself and don't go overboard trying to be cool or anything. after all, those who see you the way you are, are more likely to like you for who you are as opposed to who you may pretend to be.

Another thing...don't try to make friends all the time. Do things you like to do..such as, join a club. That way, you're more likely to make a friend that has the same interests as you.

Hope i helped! Good Luck!New Public school advice?
In your old school, you probably knew everyone. You're not going to meet all 1000 kids in your new school on your first day, so don't try anything like that. But maybe get to know the people in your favorite classes, to start.

Join some extracurriculars. It's a great way to meet people and have fun. It doesn't matter if it's football or band or chess, just pick something (and if it's seasonal, pick something else next season.)
